The Central Missouri Mules baseball team kept their national title hopes alive with a 6-0 win over Franklin Pierce at the NCAA D-II National Championships in Durham, NC on Tuesday afternoon.

Ethan Westphal threw seven shutout innings, giving up five hits, three walks and four strikeouts. Taylor Ross pitched two shutout innings. Bennett Oliver went 3 for 4, and Cole Distler drove in three runs.

The Mules play Wednesday at 2 p.m. CDT against Cal Poly Pomona.
