The Royals scored in three of the first four innings in Tuesday night’s 7-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins.

Royals starter Edinson Volquez has a 6-1 lead but allowed four runs (two earned) in 6.2 innings of work. He walked three, struck out six, and was pulled after issuing a two-out walk in the seventh inning.

Wade Davis put fans through a scare in the ninth, loaded the bases with no outs before striking out Eduardo Nunez and Joe Mauer. He then got Miguel Sano to flyout to end the game.

This is the first time the Royals have ever won eight straight games in Minnesota.  For Kansas City, it’s their fourth straight win overall.
