Central Missouri at the NCAA Championships

Central Missouri Jennies Bowling went 2-3 on the first day of the NCAA Tournament.  The 7th seeded Jennies are now 6th in qualifying play.

The Jens opened their day with a 1047-971 win over Arkansas State. After losses to McKendree and Nebraska, the Jens picked up their second win of the afternoon with a 1019-993 score over Stephen F. Austin. Central Missouri lost their final qualifying match of the day, 955-909, to Vanderbilt.

Carly Thomas paced the Jennies, averaging 212.8 pins per contest.

The Jennies finish up qualifying play Friday morning with games against Sam Houston State and North Carolina A&T and the first two rounds of bracket play will take place Friday afternoon, starting at 3:30 p.m.
