Terrance Gore came home on a wild pitch with two outs in the 10th inning, scoring the winning run with a headfirst slide to give the Royals a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Twins to sweep the series.  Once again, another late comeback as the World Series champs rallied for two runs in the ninth to tie.

Down 3-1, Eric Hosmer picked a good time to snap his 0 for 14 slump with an RBI triple in the ninth.  He then tied the game on Kendrys Morales’ sacrifice fly as closer Glen Perkins.

It looked like the Twins may get their first win of the year.  Ricky Nolasco held the Royals to one run, a homer by Moose, and three hits over seven innings in his first start.
