No. 22 Mizzou Women’s Basketball (17-4, 4-4) picked up a 52-46 win over LSU (8-13, 2-6) on Thursday night at Mizzou Arena. It is the first time that Mizzou has won 17 games before the month of February since 1976-77, which was the third year in the program’s history.

Mizzou was led by junior Lindsey Cunningham who tied her career-high with 16 points. Senior Morgan Stock finished with 12 points.  Those two shot a combined 7 of 10 from three-point range.

Our Tigers led by 17 at the half, but LSU came out and shutout Mizzou until under three minutes to go in the quarter, using a 15-0 run to make it a two-point game at 33-31.  Mizzou never surrendered the lead, despite making just four field goals in the second half.
