Goalie Brian Elliott made 29 saves and the St. Louis Blues held on for a 2-1 win against the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena on Wednesday.

With his team getting outshot on a regular basis night after night, Elliott has been incredible over the last three games.  Elliott has now won five of his six starts in place of injured Jake Allen.  Henrik Zetterberg scored for Detroit.

Ty Rattie and Dmitrij Jaskin scored for St. Louis (28-15-7). Alex Pietrangelo had two assists.
