Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry, who just a little over a year ago was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma will be taking a a trip to Hawaii as one of five Chiefs players selected to the NFL Pro Bowl.  Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley bounced back from injuries suffered at Georgia to roll up nine rushing TDs, third among running backs, to earn a trip.

Other Chiefs players:

Tamba Hali, LB, fifth Pro Bowl selection: Hali has 6.5 sacks, second on the team, and leads the Chiefs with 18 pressures.

Justin Houston, LB, fourth Pro Bowl selection: Last year’s NFL leader in sacks, he has 7.5 this year, which is tied for 18th in the league.

Travis Kelce, TE, first Pro Bowl selection: Kelce is eighth among tight ends with 65 catches but fifth in yards with 822.

Marcus Peters, CB, first Pro Bowl selection: He is tied for second in the league in interceptions (7) and he has returned a couple for touchdowns.

Other Rams players:

Aaron Donald, DT, second Pro Bowl selection: His 11 sacks are first among defensive tackles and he’s second among all defensive linemen in tackles.

Johnny Hekker, P, second Pro Bowl selection: He ranks near the top of the league in punts inside the opponent’s 20 and punts inside the opponent’s 5.

The Pro Bowl will be held on Jan. 31 in Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.
