Vladimir Tarasenko gets ready to rip a shot at the Edmonton goal

Jori Lehtera, Vladimir Tarasenko, Paul Stastny and Alexander Steen scored for the Blues who picked up a 4-2 victory against the winless Oilers, giving St. Louis its eighth straight win against Edmonton and second in a week.  The Blues improve to 3-1.  The last time the Blues lost to this Oilers came back in March of 2013.  The last time the Blues lost up in Edmonton was in October  of 2011.  In the last 22 meeting, the Blues own a 19-2-1 record.

Tarasenko gave the Blues the lead 16:01 into the second period, taking a quick shot from the top of the left faceoff circle.

Blues goaltender Brian Elliott made 24 saves for his third win of the season.

St. Louis continues their Canadian team swing on this season-high six-game road trip that started in Minnesota.  The Blues are at the Vancouver Canucks on Friday before visiting the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday and Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.
