I wouldn’t put a lot of stock into the Rams’ 0-2 preseason start, especially last night’s dismal 27-14 performance at Tennessee.

The Rams started preseason play in Oakland, flew back to St. Louis, then returned out west for three days of practices with Dallas in southern California.  After a physical battle with the Cowboys, returned home Thursday, only to fly down to Nashville for Sunday evening’s game.

Quarterback Nick Foles took the high road following the loss, saying that isn’t an excuse for not executing well, but he, like the rest of the team, is looking forward to getting back home and playing their first game in St. Louis.

“We can correct everything that happened tonight,” Foles said.

Foles went 3 of 7 for 18 yards with the Rams going three-and-out on two of his three series.  After falling behind 20-0 after the first half, the Rams second and third string got some points on the board.

Case Keenum found Chris Givens for an 80-yard TD toss in the third quarter and Sean Mannion connected with Malcolm Brown for a meaningless 54-yard TD in the final minute.
