Cardinals rookie outfielder Tommy Pham homered, doubled and drove in three runs, leading the Cardinals to a 3-1 win over the San Diego Padres.

Pham, who was called up from Triple-A Memphis on Friday, hit his first homer, a two-run drive off Ian Kennedy (4-8) in the third. Pham doubled home Lynn in the fifth.

Pham is 3 for 11 with one home run and three RBI this season.

The Cardinals improved to 31-11 at home with their second straight win.  Pittsburgh and Chicago won, keeping the Cardinals lead at 6.0 and 8.5 over both Central Division rivals.
