Gypsy Blancharde entered her plea this morning in a Greene County courtroom. She was recently returned from Wisconsin, where she was caught with her boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn of Big Bend, Wisconsin.

Missourinet affiliate KTTS in Springfield reports Blancharde did not speak during the hearing.

Court documents say she gave Godejohn a knife and he was the one who stabbed Clauddinea Blancharde to death in her bed. Godejohn is still fighting extradition from Wisconsin.

Their defense attorneys want their cases tried separately. The Green County prosecutor wants to try the couple together. A ruling on whether to split them up is expected July 20.
