Mark Reynolds homered in the fourth inning and Yadier Molina followed with his first homer of the season to go back-to-back as the St. Louis Cardinals won their fourth in a row with a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Monday night.  John Lackey went eight innings to improve to 5-4 on the year.

Lackey came back on six days’ rest following the rainout and after getting hammered for 10 earned runs in four innings at Colorado. Lackey allowed two runs on five hits with six strikeouts and a walk and retired the first nine batters he faced on Monday.

Randal Grichuk also chipped in as he tripled, singled and scored a run for the Cardinals who have now won 15 of their last 20 games and improved to 42-21 overall.
