Authorities say a Springfield mother who was reported missing has been found dead in her home, and her daughter is still missing.

The Missouri Highway Patrol issued an endangered person advisory Sunday night for 19-year-old Gypsy Blancharde and her mother, 48-year-old Clauddinnea Blancharde. Since then a search warrant was obtained for their home and authorities found Clauddinnea’s body inside. The Green County Sheriff’s Office says she was apparently a victim of foul play.

The patrol says 19-year-old Gypsy Blancharde and her mother, 48-year-old Clauddinnea Blancharde have severe medical issues and Gypsy could require the use of a wheelchair. Neighbors say they haven’t been seen since Wednesday and don’t know why they left their home.

Gypsy Blancharde is described as a white female. Clauddinnea is described as a white female, 5 feet and 1 inch tall, 255 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has information on their whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency or the Green County Sheriff’s Department at (417) 829-6230.
