Mike Moustakas drove in a run off reigning Cy Young winner Corey Kluber in the first inning, and Lorenzo Cain and Kendrys Morales added RBI doubles in the third as the Royals beat Cleveland 4-2 on Wednesday night.
Half of Kluber’s losses (3-6) have come against the Royals this season.
The Indians had the lead early, when Brandon Moss doubled home a run in the second inning and Mike Aviles added an RBI single in the third to take a 2-1 advantage.
The Royals grabbed the lead on five straight hits in the third started with singles by Alcides Escobar and Moose, then the back-to-back-to-back doubles by Cain, Kendrys and Hosmer.
