Incarnate Word, making their 15th Final Four appearance in the last 17 years completed their Class 4 “Three-peat,” with a 60-27 win over MICDS Saturday evening at Mizzou Arena. Naphessa Collier who averages just over 26 points a game this season, led the Red Knights with 30 points and 19 rebounds on 13 of 16 shooting.

IMA nearly set a MSHSAA record for shooting percentage in a championship final by connecting on 63.2% of their shots. The finals record is 63.4% by New Bloomfield in 1986. Troy Buchanan shot 69.4 % in a third place game in 1986 as well.

IMA finishes the season 29-2 and have now gone 91-3 during their three title run.

Abby O’Keefe led MICDS with 13 points as the Rams shot just 15.6% for the game. MICDS closes out their great season 26-3.
