St. Charles senior Chase Morfeld and Casey Teson each scored 23 points for the Pirates in their 73-49 win over a much younger Bolivar squad in the second, Boys Class 4 semifinal on Thursday evening at Mizzou Arena.  St. Charles will face Hillcrest on Saturday at 3 p.m. for the state title.

Bolivar spent a majority of the first half watching Teson and Morfeld lit up the Liberators by hitting 8 of his first 12 shots and scoring 21 points, just as many as Bolivar in the first half.  When Bolivar paid more attention to Morfeld, Teson took over, hitting 4 of 8 in the second half, scoring 13 of his 23.

St. Charles shot 55% for the game, including 10 of 19 from three point range and improves to 27-4

Bolivar falls to 26-5 and will play Notre Dame for third place on Friday at 11 a.m.
