Kylee Moore of Crane goes in for a layup in the second half.

The Crane Lady Pirates led from start to finish in a game that looked like it would be a blowout.  Crane defeated Skyline 58-51 after building an 18 point lead for their third straight Class 2 championship and second in a row over the Lady Tigers.  Crane also avenged one of their two losses on the season, when they lost by three to Skyline in late December.

Cold shooting doomed Skyline from the start as they hit just 7 of 26 in the first half as they fell behind 17-7 after the first quarter.  Crane, behind the play of Kylee Moore and Emma Lander (nine points each), they went to the lockers up 33-22.

Moore and Lander continued to dominate the third quarter as the Lady Pirates pushed their lead to 48-32 by the end of the third, their largest of the game.  Lander finished with 16 points and Moore had 13, while Lexie Vaught scored 11.

Madisen Brethower led Skyline with 18 points as the Tigers finish the season 28-5.  Crane ends their dominating season at 30-2.
