It’s Precious Moments meeting baseball and I’ve gotta be honest…I’ve never understood the fascination with adult men getting so excited of a figurine.  That’s basically what we’re talking about boys.  I don’t know…most guys put away the Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader action figures by the time they were 13.

For starters…they’re ugly.  Second, I don’t see the connection of what a bobbing head has to do with an athlete.  Last, they’re ugly.

But…whoever the genius was who came up with these ugly things, I tip by Bobblecap to you.  You made a fortune and I applaud.

Bobbleheads have been around for years, but they’re pretty simple. Skinny body on an oversized head that…springs back and forth.  The fade is somewhat dying out…but now the Royals are upping the ante.

Following their American League Championship run, the Royals are giving away four bobbleheads that try to re-create a moment from their playoff run.

Because nothing says favorite baseball memories like a profile of a large Salvy Perez head that bing-bings back and forth.
