This was ugly. The Miami Beach Bowl ended in a 55-48 shootout win by Memphis in double OT. Tigers DB DaShaughn Terry intercepted Christian Stewart’s pass in the end zone. As Memphis players flooded the field in celebration, with some of them taunting BYU players. One Cougar offensive lineman, pushed a Tigers player, who retaliated with a push to the back of the head. That’s when a huge brawl broke out on the field.
Barry Odom, the defensive coordinator for Memphis, coached his final game for those Tigers. The former Mizzou football player is now the defensive coordinator for our Tigers.
