Markus Golden was named the Southeastern Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week.  The task for him and the rest of his linemates for the Missouri Tigers will be breaking through Arkansas’ big offensive line.

How big are these boys up front for the Hogs?  They’re the biggest in the game including the NFL.  However, our guest this week, says they can be beat to the outside and Golden and Shane Ray may be able to pressure Razorbacks quarterback Brandon Allen on the outside.

Tom Murphy of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette shares the reasons for success from the Hogs’ point of view.  They love to run the football, they like to move Allen around in the pocket to avoid a pass rush and they thrive on stopping the run.

Offensively, if the Tigers can get Arkansas into passing mode, Missouri will have success.  Allen is a 50-50 chance of playing this week after injuring his hip.  If Brandon is not able to play, the Hogs will rely on younger brother, redshirt freshman, Austin Allen.
