The Missouri Tigers will start the first half of Saturday’s game against Texas A & M with only half of their starting secondary.  Saftey Braylon Webb will have to sit out the first half, after being ejected for a targeting penalty in the Kentucky game and Head Coach Gary Pinkel announced that cornerback Aarion Penton has been suspended indefinitely.

The Tigers will be without seven of their ten interceptions for most of this game.  Penton is second on the team with three interceptions, behind Webb’s team leading four. Penton is tied for the team lead with Kenya Dennis for pass breakups with seven.  Sophomore John Gibson will start in place of Penton.

Junior safety Ian Simon is confident that his backup, fellow junior Cortland Browning, can get the job done in the first half.
