The Royals were looking for a lift in a 1-1 game that looked like it was possibly heading for another extra inning affair.  In fact, the Sea of Blue in the seats at Kauffman Stadium sounded as though they were settling in for a long night.

In one play, a foul ball nonetheless, the crowd was sparked as the energy returned to help fuel the Royals to a rally in the bottom half of the sixth inning after Mike Moustakas made a circus catch over the railing robbing Baltimore’s Adam Jones of another pitch.

“It really did fire up the whole stadium,” Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer said of his teammate’s circus catch. “Hats off to the fans in the dugout suite, pick him up and put him back on the field. That was great. ‘Moose’ finding ways to get it done.”
