Mizzou’s football game on Saturday, (11 a.m. kick), against Georgia is a sellout.  They will have a capacity crowd of 71,168 on hand for a matchup between the 23rd-ranked Tigers (4-1, 1-0 SEC) and the 13th-ranked Bulldogs (4-1, 2-1 SEC).  A win on Saturday puts Mizzou in the driver’s seat for the SEC East, despite the fact the Tigers will have only played two conference games.  The win would put South Carolina four games out and Georgia three (based on head to head tiebreakers).

During his press conference on Monday, head coach Gary Pinkel said that both wide receivers Jimmie Hunt and Darius White are a better than 50% chance of playing in this game.  The team doctors will give Pinkel the go-ahead today.  The weak point in Georgia’s defense is the secondary and getting back targets like Hunt and White will certainly help Maty Mauk, but how much time will he have against a talented front seven?

We discuss that topic on this Google Hangout.
