The Missouri Tigers are back in action this week in game two of their critical three-game stretch which will provide Tiger fans some insight as to whether or not there will be meaningful football played in November.  Mizzou will host Georgia on Saturday at 11 a.m.  A win by the Tigers moves them to 2-0 in SEC play and would basically build a three-game advantage over the Bulldogs.

With South Carolina’s loss to Kentucky, the SEC East is down to basically a three-team race.  Missouri, Georgia and Florida, right?  Not exactly.  According to Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner Herald, he believes at this point, Kentucky is the next contender despite their loss to the Gators.

I talked with Marc about the SEC East, the strength of the SEC West and he also breaks down some of the key players and matchups that Tiger fans should be looking for.  We all know about Todd Gurley, but it looks like Georgia will be employing a two-quarterback system.

Expect the Bulldogs to bring the heat on Maty Mauk.  If Mauk has time to throw, he could find some open receivers.  Weiszer talks about the big concerns of Georgia’s secondary.
