First Quarter Recap

The first eight minutes of the game featured two drives by the Missouri offense that included two bad snaps, two false start penalties and a dropped pass by Marcus Murphy that would have converted a third and long.

Russell Hansbrough was hurt on a horse collar penalty. Hansbrough lost the football, but the 15 yards kept their second drive alive, but he left shaken up.

Indiana took over on their third possession and Nate Sudfeld hit Nick Stoner for a 47 yard pass. Two plays later Tevin Coleman scored on a one-yard run giving him a touchdown in a Hoosier record, 12 straight games.

On a 3rd and 17, Marcus Hansbrough took a pitch and went 42 yards for a first down and on the next play, Mauk threw a beautiful pass to Jimmie Hunt for 45 yards to tie game at 7-7.
