2nd Quarter Update
After the Mauk interception, UCF converted two, long third down pass plays to get down to the Missouri two. William Stanback was wide open on a screen pass to the right and the Knights grabbed a 10-7.
The Tigers answered UCF’s touchdown with a nice sustained drive of 14 plays over 75 yards taking just over six minutes off the clock. Mauk scrambled for a couple of first downs. Hit TE Sean Culkin on a 3rd down pass at the start of the drive to give the Tigers a first down.
UCF came back with a long drive, but got down to the Mizzou 30 and had to attempt a long field goal. Shawn Moffit missed wide right on a 47 yard field goal attempt.
