Junior center Evan Boehm of Lee’s Summit has been named to the 2014 Rimington Trophy Watch List.  The award is presented annually to the most outstanding center in college football. Boehm started all 14 games at center last season, anchoring Mizzou’s offensive line that helped the Tigers rushing offense to 237.9 yards per game, which ranked second in the SEC and 16th nationally.

Boehm started at left guard as a freshman in 2012 and started all 12 games, before making the shift to center during the offseason last year.

Dave Rimington, the award’s namesake, was a consensus First Team All-America center at the University of Nebraska in 1981 and 1982, during which time he became the John Outland Trophy’s only double winner as the nation’s finest college interior lineman.
