Napheesa Collier of O’Fallon has been named to the USA’s under-18 basketball team that will compete at the FIBA America’s championship later this summer in Colorado Springs. Collier was one of 12 players selected from 27 who tried out over three days. Collier averaged almost 24 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Class 4 champion Incarnate Word. She has committed to play at UCONN.

-Attends Incarnate Word Academy (Mo.), where she helped lead her team to a 31-1 record and averaged 23.7 ppg., 9.7 rpg., 3.0 apg., 4.2 spg. and 2.0 bpg.
-Led Incarnate Word to a 60-43 victory in the 2014 Missouri Class 4 state championship game. Combined to shoot 25-of-27 in the semis (24 points) and finals (33 points) of the 2014 state finals.
-Helped Incarnate World earn the 2013 state title with a perfect 31-0 record; averaged 24.6 ppg., 11.9 rpg., 4.0 spg. and 2.4 bpg.
-Transferred to Incarnate Word from Jefferson City High School (Mo.), where she averaged 17.9 pg., 9.9 rpg., 4.7 apg., 3.7 spg. and 1.7 bpg. as a freshman.
