Aldon Smith
I’ve been through airport security a number of times since 9/11 and yes it can be a hassle at times, but one thing I’ve noticed. When you get there at least 60 minutes before your flight and you are prepared for security, you usually get through the process fairly quickly. Oh and by the way, since terrorists used planes to kill people and blow up buildings, if I get called for a secondary screening or pat down, so be it. I like to know our country is taking steps to make sure we’re safe. I’ll take a little delay.
That’s why I get so aggravated when I hear stories like the one of Aldon Smith getting arrested for telling a TSA Agent he had a bomb. The former Mizzou star ended up getting arrested all because he was pulled to the side for a second screening and left the area using the “B” word. Time to grow up!
The 49ers released a statement on Sunday.
“We are disappointed to learn of the incident today involving Aldon Smith,” 49ers general manager Trent Baalke said in the statement, via the Bee. “As this is a pending legal matter and we are still gathering the pertinent facts, we will have no further comment.”
