Jabari Brown scored 21 points to lead Missouri to an 85-66 win over Mississippi State, Saturday afternoon at Mizzou Arena. Most impressive in this win was the inside play from the Tigers top forwards.

Keanau Post finished with 14 points as he teamed up with Torren Jones, Jonathan Williams and Ryan Rosburg to go a combined 15 of 16 from the field. Mizzou scored 40 points inside the paint and got 29 from off the bench, as the Tigers set a season best with 62% shooting and 19 assists.

The Tigers used a strong first half to open a 45-32 lead by shooting 60% from the field. Mississippi State, not known for shooting the three ball well, hit 6 of 14 from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes. That kept the game reasonable for much of that half.  Things got better for the Tigers.

Mississippi State made 10 of 24 from three point range for the game, but went through a drought of 6:05 without scoring a point, as the Tigers extended their lead by 27 as they went on a 15-0 run in the second half with a variety of highlight reel, transition baskets.

The Tigers, now 14-2 at home, will wrap up their home schedule with a game Wednesday night against Texas A & M.
