Mizzou Basketball returns home to host the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon as the Tigers have back-to-back home games vs. MSU and the Texas A&M Aggies before concluding the regular season next Saturday at Tennessee.

Mizzou is going for its sixth consecutive 20-win campaign on Saturday, but there are still questions about whether or not this team will make the NCAA tournament. The biggest question that gets debated today with Matt and Will from our Columbia affiliate KTGR, is why is this team on the bubble? I play Devil’s advocate and question if it is recruiting, are the players tired, are they pressing too much, or is it a coaching issue?

Frank Haith said he has talked with Jordan Clarkson and Jabari Brown about not trying to do too much. Brown continues to be one of the SEC’s most consistent performers, scoring in double figures in each of the team’s 28 games this year and topped 20 points for the 10th time in 15 league games .

Brown (20.1 ppg) and Clarkson (18.6) are the third highest scoring tandem in college basketball this season, combining for 38.7 points per game. Brown, Clarkson and Earnest Ross (14.3) are also the nation’s No. 2 scoring trio this year behind VMI’s Peterson, Glasgow and D.J. Covington (18.1).
