Whether you are an experienced boater or someone who thinks it is time the family takes up the hobby this summer, Mark Adams of the St. Louis Boat and Sportshow says there is a boat for every type of person. The place to start is at the 60th annual show runs from Feb. 26-Mar. 2 at America’s Center at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.
There truly is a little something for everyone this year, whether you are a first-timer to the event, or someone who has always made it to downtown St. Louis. Some of the highlights to year’s show include:
John Godwin from A&E’s hit series Duck Dynasty will be a special guest at this year’s show. John will meet and greet fans on Saturday, March 1, from Noon to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Anchors & Ales Local Craft Brew Sampling
Friday, February 28, 5 p.m.–10 p.m.
Need something new and different for date night? Head to the show for a fun filled night sampling local craft beers. Tickets are $10.00 each with a paid adult admission at the show (one ticket per person). You can also buy a ticket online for $20.00 which includes your admission to the show and entry to Anchors & Ales. Anchors & Ales ticket price includes limited edition sampling glass and 10 tasting tickets.
Marine Electronics University
Explore the latest in marine electronics technology from Lowrance! Learn by doing as an expert from Lowrance leads hands-on workshops using Lowrance HDS GEN2 Touch units. Sessions will cover all the basics and more – with instruction on everything from routine setup and product use to news about leading technologies such as CHIRP sonar and Insight Genesis Mapping. You’ll also hear about newly released products. Whether you’re a techno-novice or expert, you’re sure to learn something new.
In addition, there are do-it-yourself seminars for the boat owner interested in learning new techniques for taking care of your boat or motor.  Show goers are encouraged to head to Fred’s Shed for practical, professional advice. Free daily sessions cover a variety of topics.  Plus, if you’re a fan of classic boats, or simply appreciate the chance to see a bit of history up close, check out the antique and classic boat display.
