Two double headers highlight the schedule of mid-week fourteen in MIAA basketball.

Lincoln at Central Missouri

WBB – #12 UCM 86, LU 53

#12 Central Missouri held Lincoln under 30 points in each half as they picked up a win on their home court. UCM grabbed 24 points off of turnover and added 17 second chance points as they moved to 13-2 in the MIAA this season.

For the Jennies Keuna Flax had 20 points and Revonnia Howard had 17 points and nine rebounds. BreAnna Lewis added 15 points and Shelby Winkelmann finished with 12 points. For the Blue Tigers Jaleisha Barrett had a double-double scoring 11 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Jennifer Rosado had a team best 13 points and Lizzie Nessling added 10 points.

MBB – UCM 92, LU 50 

Central Missouri put up 59 second half point as they earned a win at home over Lincoln. UCM racked up 31 points off of turnovers and got 53 points from their bench as they moved to 12-3 in the MIAA this season.

For the Mules Charles Hammork led the way with 14 points and Daylen Robinson had a game high 10 assists. TJ White and Kyle Wolf had 11 points each as Ryan Donald added 10 points. For the Blue Tigers Mike Smith had a game high 18 points on the night. Joshua Buie had 10 points and pulled down a game high eight rebounds.

Northwest Missouri at Missouri Southern 

WBB – MSSU 64, NWMSU 60 OT

Missouri Southern erased a five-point halftime deficit to force overtime and pick up a victory at home over Northwest Missouri. MSSU got 19 second chance points as they move to 9-5 in league play this season.

For the Lions Sharese Jones led the way with 16 points and nine rebounds on the night. Dominique Mosley added 12 points and nine rebounds and Alexis Fitzpatrick had four assists. For the Bearcats Annie Mathews had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Shelby Mustain had 13 points while Monique Stevens and Meridee Scott added 10 points each.

MBB – MSSU 82, NWMSU 68 

Missouri Southern held Northwest Missouri to just 26 first half points as they picked up the victory at home. MSSU shot .517 from the field as they moved to 10-4 in league play this season.

For the Lions Slim Magee, Lane Barlow and Marquis Addison had 14 points each and Jordan Talbert had a team high nine rebounds. Matt Everson and Baline Miller each added 10 points on the night. For the Bearcats DeShaun Cooper had 22 points and Matt Wallace dished out seven assists. Dillon Starzl had 11 points and added a team high eight rebounds.
