Victor Tarasenko and T.J. Oshie scored shootout goals for the Blues, who improved to 6-2 in shootouts this season, with a 4-3 win over the Nashville Predators.

Jaden Schwartz and David Backes scored for the Blues (37-12-5), who have beaten the Predators (25-23-9) eight of the past nine times the teams have met. The Blues are now 14-0-1 against Central Division foes this season. They are one point behind the first-place Chicago Blackhawks in the Central Division but have three games in hand.

The Blues a 2-0 lead slip away when Paul Guastad scored late in the second period and Mike Fisher added his 15th of the season, 3:25 into the third. Roman Josi then put the Preds up 3-2, but Tarasenko responded just 16 seconds later to tie the game.
