Trevor Lewis scored his first two goals of the season, with both coming just 2:17 apart in the third period to snap a tie, and the Los Angeles Kings ended a five-game road losing streak with a 4-1 win over the Blues.

“It was a big game, it was a game that meant quite a bit,” said coach Ken Hitchcock. “They rose to the occasion. We didn’t. … I’m kind of getting sick of watching it.”

T.J. Oshie’s first career penalty shot goal got the Blues (32-9-5) even in the game at 5:55 of the second period, and Jaroslav Halak stopped 27 shots, but it wasn’t enough. The loss ended a five-game home winning streak.  The Kings avenged a rare loss to the Blues back on Jan. 2, when the Blues won 5-0 with Jonathan Quick not in the nets.  Quick made 29 saves in this game.
