The Mizzou women were able to defeat the Bulldogs, knocking off #25 Georgia 66-56. In the process, Mizzou’s Morgan Eye broke the school’s all-time record for three pointers. With 9:07 left in the first half, Eye nailed her 227th three-pointer as a Tiger, surpassing Alyssa Hollins. The junior is from Montrose, Missouri.

When the Missouri Tigers men’s team lost on Wednesday night to the Georgia Bulldogs, it snapped a 26 game home winning streak which was tied for the longest in the Division I basketball.

Now, another streak has ended in Division II basketball for another one of our programs. The Drury University men, the defending national champs and ranked 3rd, lost at No. 2 Bellarmine 85-77, snapping a 34 game winning streak which was the nation’s longest active NCAA winning streak.
