Shane Ray and members of Mizzou’s defense celebrate the clinching touchdown.

Henry Josey ran for 92 yards and three touchdowns, with his third coming on a 16-yarder with 3:08 left, to put Mizzou up by three. Shane Ray returned a fumbled 73 yards for a touchdown after Michael Sam stripped Clint Chelf, and the No. 9 Tigers beat No. 13 Oklahoma State 41-31 in the longest Cotton Bowl game in history on Friday night.

With his three touchdowns, Josey moved his career rushing total to fourth all-time at Mizzou. For his effort, Josey was named the Cotton Bowl offensive MVP. Will he add to that total next year or will he declare for the NFL draft?

Gary Pinkel stuck with his senior quarterback James Franklin who struggled all night completing just 10 of 30 passes for 93 yards and an interception. A pick six was called back on a pass interference call that would have given OSU the lead after they just tied the game at 24. With new life, Franklin drove the Tigers down for a 46 yard field goal from Andrew Baggett, his second of the night.
