The Missouri Tigers shot 54% from the field, and 52% from three point range as Jabari Brown led five Tigers in double figures with 19 points. Mizzou beats Southeastern Louisiana 89-53.

The Tigers came out with an impressive first half, hitting nearly 58% of their shots and they were 8 of 12 from three point range. Asked if he was concerned with so many long range shots, interim coach Tim Fuller said not as long as they are going in.
Senior Earnest Ross knocked down three from long distance, while freshman Wes Clark and sophomore Stefan Jankoviceach tallied two apiece from three. Clark posted 10 points in the first half, behind 4-of-7 shooting and finished with 13 points overall on the night.
Junior Jordan Clarkson was shutout in the first half for the Tigers, but rebounded nicely with 14 second half points. Clarkson finished the night shooting 5-of-12 from the field.
Free throw shooting was another issue. Fuller said he would make sure the team was ready for their next game on Tuesday, Nov. 12 against Southern Illinois. The Tigers were just 15 of 27 from the line.
Even though this was a game against a lesser opponent, Fuller certainly had butterflies as he made his head coaching debut.
“I feel like he never left, I feel like he’s a part of me. He’s helped raise me since I was 19 years old, so I quietly hear him talking when I’m out there coaching. I was emotional before we went out there. My stomach was turning quite heavily in the locker room, but when we went out on the court, all I thought was, `we have to win'”.
