Boos were heard from the crowd at the Missouri-Tennessee game Saturday at the mention of the President.

New members of the Missouri National Guard were sworn in a halftime and during their oath, at a line that says, “I will obey the orders of the President of the United States,” members of the crowd were heard booing.  Several in the crowd said it was clear the boos came at the mention of the President.

Representative Clem Smith (D-Velda Village Hills) says he is “embarrassed and angry” at those who booed, saying they disrespected the men and women of the military and saying the swearing-in ceremony was not the proper place for such a display.
