The Rams put on the full pads for the first time on Monday afternoon and went through a two-hour workout under nice cool weather for late July.

Offensive lineman Barrett Jones returned to action after a long recovery from a foot injury. Jones got some work in at center and had a bit of rust, missing once on a snap that went high.
First round pick Alec Ogletree looked physical and active for the first day in pads. Ogletree is working with the first team defense and it looks like he will be doing so for the immediate near future.
WR Tavon Austin had a couple of drops early but made up for it later on with some impressive catches, including a deep ball that was dropped just over the defense.
The Rams are off today.
