You already know about Yadier Molina. Top defensive player in the game, .348 batting average, leading vote getter in the All-Star, top three selling jersey in all of baseball. However, there is also Salvador Perez with the Royals. Already an All-Star at the age of 23…something Molina didn’t accomplish until he was 26. Picked off five baserunners, just like Molina, but in only 73 games last season (65 fewer games than Yadi). Plus, Perez is putting up better numbers offensively than Molina did in his first three seasons.

It’s those type of numbers that had Bill Ivie of i70baseball.com say that we have the best two catchers in all of baseball right here in the Show Me State.
