Chase Daniel, new Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and former Mizzou star,  will be returning to Columbia to host his first football camp,  June 22-23rd in Columbia and Chase joined me to talk about the camp.

Chase says the goal of the camp is to make football fun for the kids.

“Football is about fun, so I want people to come and have fun, have a good time, learn the fundamentals of football, which got me to where I am today,” said Daniel. “What better place to put it on than Faurot Field?  We’re actually going to be in ‘The Zou,’ kids from the area will just love it.”

Chase will be joined by the area’s top prep football coaches. Participants experience various stations, specializing in the fundamentals of football. Skills, drills and games are the staples of the camp. All campers receive a Camp T-Shirt and Daniel-autographed team photo, plus Chase will talk with the kids about making good choices in life.  To sign up, visit ChaseDanielCamp.com

Chase also had time to talk about the Chiefs, plus I’ve got some great questions for him, like:

How far can Chase throw a football?

Who Chase rather get blindsided by…Sean Weatherspoon of Atlanta or Aldon Smith of San Francisco?

Would Chase trade his SuperBowl ring, for a win over Oklahoma in the Big 12 title game so you could play for a National Championship?
