A soldier who was based in Missouri has been killed.
The Department of Defense says 33-year-old Seargent Trenton Rhea of Oakly, Kansas drowned in Kandahar, Afghanistan, while in combat.
He was previously with the 200th Military Police Command in Belton, Missouri.
