Earvin Santana gave up 39 home run balls last season with the Angels, most of any pitcher. Wednesday, making his first start with the Royals, Santana was tagged for three homers as the White Sox beat the Royals, 5-2 in Chicago.

Adam Dunn homered on the first pitch of the second inning. Tyler Flowers, who won the game on Opening Day with a homer, hit his second of the season on the first pitch of the third inning. Then Dayan Viciedo hit one just over the left field wall in the fourth, past the outstretched glove of Alex Gordon…it looked like he made a great catch while hanging over the wall.

Billy Butler picked up an RBI and the Royals also added an unearned run off Jake Peavey who picked up the win.  Last season, Peavey was 0-3 against the Royals with a 5.68 ERA.
