Mark Mihal didn’t have this in mind when he was thinking about a hole in one last Friday while golfing at Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo, IL. (SE of St. Louis) The 43 year old mortgage broker from Creve Coeur was on the 14th fairway when he dropped nearly 18 feet into the ground. One of Mihal’s golf buddies called the Pro Shop and general manager Russ Nobbe brought out a ladder and some rope. Mihal suffered a dislocated shoulder, so his partner climbed down and tied the rope around his waist and they pulled him to safety. The whole ordeal took about 20 minutes.
