The No. 1 ranked Columbia College Cougar men’s basketball team continued their winning ways with a 67-52 victory over Hannibal-LaGrange (Mo.) University on Thursday night in the quarterfinals of the NAIA, American Midwest Conference postseason tournament. Columbia, the tournament’s top overall seed, improves to 31-0 with the win and is the only remaining undefeated team in all of college basketball for the 2012-13 season.

Columbia never trailed in the second half and went up by as many as 20 before finishing the contest with a 15-point win. Junior Devin Griffin led all scorers with 20 points, four assists and seven rebounds. Jordan Dressler and Derrick Dilworth each chipped in 10 points.

The Cougars are off Friday before returning to the court on Saturday, March 2nd to host Williams Baptist College in the tournament semifinals. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m. at the Arena of Southwell Complex on the campus of Columbia College.
