A Jennings man is accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death in front of her two children.
Police say 28-year-old Sophia Moore kicked her boyfriend out of her house in the St. Louis neighborhood about a week ago. The man reportedly returned last night, assaulted her and then began stabbing her as she tried to flee from a back window.
Her sons, ages 8 and 9, witnessed the attack before running to a neighbor’s house for help.
The suspect turned himself in and confessed to the crime.
