Conservation Agents are investigating the shooting of a bald eagle in Southeast Missouri’s Wayne County.

Conservation Agent Mic Plunkett says agents are relying on the public to help them catch the shooter. The dead bald eagle was found near Williamsville.

Shooting a bald eagle is not only a violation of state law, but also a federal crime.
