After losing to Tennessee by 45 points on January 10th, the Mizzou women shocked #9 Tennessee with an 80-63 win over Vols at Mizzou Arena on Sunday. Sophomore Morgan Eye from Montrose, Missouri scored 26 points…she’s shooting 44% on three pointers this season.

The game was tightly contested through the first 30 minutes, featuring 11 lead changes before the Tigers ran away for the 17-point victory. The win was the program’s first against a top-10 opponent since Jan. 23, 2010, when the Tigers upset then-No. 10 Baylor.

As a team, Missouri shot 52.7 percent from the field, 45.8 percent from behind the arc, and 84.6 percent from the free throw line. In addition to the hot shooting, the Tigers won the assist battle 23-6 and bench scoring 34-3.
