The Nebrasak Cornhuskers gained a pledge for the 2013 football recruiting class with the deadline three days away after defensive end Dimarya Mixon from West Mesquite, TX dropped a commitment from Missouri and picked the Huskers on Saturday after a visit to Lincoln.

On Saturday, he flipped his commit to the Huskers. He confirmed the news on his Twitter account. Mixon told Fox Sports Next, “I felt it (Nebraska) was the right place for me. It was just the way they made me feel, like family. And they were not pressuring me to change my decision. On top of being my dream school, it just sold me. I knew.”

The 6-foot-3, 265-pounder is rated a high three-star prospect.  National signing day is Feb. 6th.
